Fall in Love. . .Fall Wedding Floral and Event Design Inspiration

My favorite yoga instructor, Jillian Pransky, once described the fall season as the time where mother nature prepares herself for the long restful winter. "[Mother Nature] has offered so much of herself – support, beauty, food, and well being. Now the earth takes time to replenish and rejuvenate so she can rise up again and sustain us. And she does this over and over and over again. And so shall we."

Look familiar? Unexpected fall florals!

But before she rests for the winter, Mother Nature gives us such a wonderful palette of colors and textures and smells to play with. The fall is a very romantic season for all of these reasons and so we thought it appropriate, as the leaves begin to change, that we share with you some fall wedding/event design inspiration.



Love the variety of elements in each one



OK, so maybe not a crow for a wedding, but think of the possibilities. What about the couple's monogram? And the crow would work well for a more casual Fall affair. I just love the use of an actual pumpkin but in a sophisticated way.

That is a tomato! Fall is the perfect time to incorporate fruits and vegetables into your design because the colors work so well. And the barn . . .heaven!

How simple and elegant is this? Berries in vintage bottles.

* As for the first picture of the couples and balloons. . .Very, very rarely do we advocate the use of balloons in our event designs for personal aesthetic preferences, however I am all about this oversized, carnival balloon trend. 

things that make you go hmmmm. . .Karma Flowers inspirations. . .

we have all seen yellow billy ball arrangements (if not, see our family fete post). they are everywhere right now. But why not freshen them up a bit with a new pop of color. we LOVE the shades of pink used in the arrangement above but the possibilities are endless...

honor those not with you on your big day by attaching a sentiment reminding you of them to your bouquet. have to be honest. love the idea of this, but not sold on the execution. we think this tribute is super cool but we think we have some ideas on how to make it look better...

your traditional floral accents do not have to be made entirely of flowers (if you know us, you know we always include unexpected elements in all of our floral designs). these feathers and berries make a statement with a sweet pop of color. think of all of the possibilities. . .
