Real Wedding Flowers: Jennifer and Daniel, Vanessa Joy Photography, The Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge

Vanessa, of Vanessa Joy Photography, was kind enough to share a few pictures with us of Jennifer and Daniel's rustic meets chic wedding at The Stonehouse in Warren, NJ. The bouquets were made of peonies, roses, spray roses, and dusty miller and beautifully accented the bridesmaids glittery gowns. We outfitted the venue with centerpieces of peonies and garden-inspired flowers and our vintage rentals so guests could lounge and enjoy the view of the beautiful lawn. We are so happy for Jen and Dan and congratulate them on such a gorgeous wedding day.

The Wedding Chicks have been giving us so much love lately, we thought it was about time we share a styled shoot they featured of ours a while back. We had the privilege of designing florals and rentals for a Julie Paisley Photography workshop in South Jersey. The red, purple, and yellow fall palette was so refreshing and the hanging sweetheart table our very own Dave made is divine!

I Like Big Bouts and I Can Not Lie. A Quick Guide to Different Boutonniere Options

Bouty! Bouty! Bouty! When I was titling this blog post I had a million options because we, at Karma Flowers, spend our creation days {days dedicated to the pieces that are made for our weddings and events} coming up with ridiculous "bout" references. It's flower humor I guess. 

In any case, Julie and Dave are our resident boutonniere makers and they do a boutiful job {trust me, they are endless.}

We wanted to give the fellas a quick guide to some boutonniere looks since we find that most men do not give it a thought before our first consultation. Karma Flowers customizes the ribbon and presentation to suit the wedding day and the couple but here are a few bout interpretations of different wedding aesthetics {all the work of the Karma Flowers team}...

The Classic

A Behind the Scenes Look. Art + Ali. Bayonet Farm. August 3, 2013.

Art and Ali's nuptials took place in the fields of Bayonet Farm in Holmdel, NJ.  We were inspired by the couple's Australian roots to use a combination of worldly design and rustic tradition.  This wedding was truly unique.

We used flowers in soft hues of pink and peach.  We used tons of vintage furniture to bring warmth to the large outdoor space.

We are so happy to be back styling weddings!  After some time focusing on photo shoots and other projects, we are thrilled to show you some behind the scenes photos from one of our biggest weddings of the season.

A Behind the Scenes Look. Jess and Josh. The Liberty House, June 1, 2013 by Karma

Have you ever wondered what it's really like behind the scenes at a event design company?  Here at Karma, we spend our days using all of our artistic energy to make our client's creative visions come alive.  There is no hour too late and no vase too heavy to lift.  But the long hours and months of designing always pay off.

In the last few days of May, we put all of our creative energy into Jess and Josh's June 1, 2013, wedding at The Liberty House.  We secured a lush garland along the metal beams around the ceiling. We used mock orange branches to make oversized, tree-like arrangements that were placed on every farm table.  {Never before have we plucked so many leaves from branches!} Tables were accented with arrangements of white hydrangea and china mums.  Every boutonniere and bouquet was carefully hand designed and executed by our talented team.  We can not wait to share some of the professional pictures by Jason Gardener Photography.
