Real Wedding: Winter Weddings...Kristin and Rick's December Wedding at The Liberty House

When I met Kristin and Rick in their adorable home in New Jersey, I was instantly drawn to their laid back approach to the wedding. It was clear they wanted to have a beautiful celebration that would keep guests on the dance floor all night. With the views of NYC in the backdrop, we set out to create a sophisticated, yet uncomplicated design in the Liberty House space. One of my absolute favorite elements of the day was the combination of the sweet and soft peonies and the wintery pine and greens used in the bouquets and centerpieces. The pale pink against the more traditional holiday palette of red and green, was a complete success. And how stunning is our bride...

Spring Holiday DIY Projects and Ideas

This weekend we are looking forward to celebrating the transition to Spring with our friends and family. And there will be some egg-dying, egg-hiding, comfort food-eating, and of course some DIY-ing {we can't help ourselves.} So I thought with a few days to spare {and while there is still time to hit up a craft store}, I would share with you some of the Pinterest projects we have already done and some we plan to do in the next few days. Weekend Wrap-up... Styled Holiday Sessions with Two Wonderful Photographers and our Favorite Textile Company

This weekend we were delighted to partner with a couple of wonderful photographers to style some fabulous holiday sessions for families, couples, babies, and pets! We wanted to share our set-ups with you!

Keep in mind if you are local to the NJ/NY area you can arrange to rent some of our items for your holiday pictures. We can discuss details with you and your photographer. Our rental website is www.trunkvintagerental.com and while NOT everything is pictured on it, it should give you a sense of what we have available.

One of our shoots was at the 6th Borough Market in Jersey City and we were joined there by Angela Newton Roy Photography and The Casa Pino.  

Our other shoot was at the Plut Tree Farm in Washington, NJ with DHM Photography and we created two very fun set-ups for all of the families that came by {we had our holiday pics taken too so we will be sure to share!}
