Real Wedding. Jessica and Clarence, August, 2012, City Hall Restaurant by Karma Flowers

We first met Jessica {of Jessica Lavoie Photography} in 2011 while she was photographing the wedding of mutual clients. We instantly became smitten with her and her amazing work and were so honored to have the opportunity to work with her again on the Plus Model Magazine bridal photo shoot, where she created some absolutely magnificent images. So you can imagine how overjoyed we were when we found out that she was tying the knot with her darling fiance, Clarence, in August of this year! Jess and Clarence got married in NYC and had their reception at City Hall Restaurant in Manhattan. They were looking for simple, elegant and timeless bouquet and reception design so we went with an all white color palette. The bouquets were made of garden roses and the reception space was filled with clear glass pillar candles and a hint of baby's breath. The pictures, taken by the amazing Lacy of More Than an Image Photography, could not have captured the romance and love between these two and their day any better. See more on her blog.

Sadly, the day after their wedding, Jessica's father, John, passed away. Jessica and her family have been advocating for diabetes research and awareness and we wanted to take a moment to remind you in the spirit of holidays, giving any small amount can help -chances are, you know someone with or affected by diabetes. Real Wedding Anniversary. Happy Year One Matt and Candice! by Karma Flowers.

Better late then never! One of our favorite couples, Matt and Candice Powers, celebrated their one year anniversary on Monday {October 8th}. We want to wish them continued martial bliss and all the happiness in the world. They are honestly one of the most free-spirited, fun loving couples we ever met and we hope that never changes!

Matt and Candice's wedding still remains one of our favorites. From the ceremony with the crane screen we created in Powerhouse Arena, to the eclectic reception space at reBar in Brooklyn...all of the details came together to embrace the love this couple has for one another {the Jenny Packham dress, Matt's dapper suit, the signature drinks, unconventional seating arrangement, postcard guest book, mustaches and lip photo props and of course the flowers made exclusively from baby's breath, billy balls, and a ranunculus or two}.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of designing the flowers {and seating chart} for a beautiful couple, Erika and Matt. . .{The Liberty House, Jersey City, NJ}

I was able to get some pics that I, of course, Instagram-ed but we can not wait to see the shots captured by Photography by Orlando.

Flowers are hydrangea, anemones, astilbe, garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, and dusty miller. Stock, asters, and wax flower were also used on the centerpieces.
