for a causal birthday dinner we combined texture, color, and a little bit of nostalgia. the flowers and greens were placed in old dresser drawers to give it a little age against the new, vibrant buds (you can see the drawer knob in the picture to the left). we adorned the table with simple clear glass votives and our favorite part- vintage postcards with a darling birthday message.
