A Behind the Scenes Look. Jess and Josh. The Liberty House, June 1, 2013 by Karma

Thursday, June 13, 2013

Have you ever wondered what it's really like behind the scenes at a event design company?  Here at Karma, we spend our days using all of our artistic energy to make our client's creative visions come alive.  There is no hour too late and no vase too heavy to lift.  But the long hours and months of designing always pay off.

In the last few days of May, we put all of our creative energy into Jess and Josh's June 1, 2013, wedding at The Liberty House.  We secured a lush garland along the metal beams around the ceiling. We used mock orange branches to make oversized, tree-like arrangements that were placed on every farm table.  {Never before have we plucked so many leaves from branches!} Tables were accented with arrangements of white hydrangea and china mums.  Every boutonniere and bouquet was carefully hand designed and executed by our talented team.  We can not wait to share some of the professional pictures by Jason Gardener Photography

For now get a behind the scenes look at all of our hard {and fun!} work with our own Instagram pics...

In place of or in addition to your bouquet, the floral headpiece screams summer, garden wedding. Are you tempted to incorporate flowers into your overall wedding look? Tell us about it!

Real Wedding. Rick and Tati 5.19.12. Alba Vineyard, Milford, NJ.

Thursday, July 5, 2012

I know you have suffered through my Instagrammed photos of this vineyard wedding we did in May, but AMAZING photographer, Sara Wight, was nice enough to send me over some of the ridiculously gorgeous pics she took that day. Ahhhh.

Congrats Rick and Tati. It was our pleasure!

So this wedding was super-duper exciting because we had the opportunity to be a part of so much more than the flowers. Even Trunk, our vintage rental company, was involved. From the fabric ceremony backdrop, to the parade wands, to the isle markers, signage, billy ball seating chart, vintage dessert and seating chart furniture pieces, centerpieces, ribbon chandeliers {of which I have no pics yet} and the bouts and bouquets {again no pics yet}, Karma Flowers made it, sewed it, strung it, arranged and delivered it. Whew.

But it was all worth it for an amazing couple.
Happy Wedding Rick and Tati.

The setting was a beautiful in vineyard in NJ of all places {crazy, I know.} But the bride and groom wanted to bring their love of the water into the decor, hence the blue!

For now you have to suffer through my Instagram-ed photos but I hope to show pics by the marvelous Sara Wight of Sara Wight Photography as soon as we get to see them!

This backdrop is three sided! You are seeing it from one angle.

Flowers used throughout day included peonies, garden roses {3 types}, thistle, protea {2 types}, dahlias, stock, green mist, scabiosa pods, scabiosa, bunny tail, geranium leaves, cosmos, lavender, sweet pea, craspedia, and feverfew...

Enjoy. We surely did!
